So you wanna know how the Galaxy S26 Ultra stacks up against its predecessor and Apple's best offering? Well, I've got the scoop. A reliable tipster just shared some juicy images and a video that pit the S26 Ultra against the S25 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Buckle up!

According to these leaks, the S26 Ultra's design is looking more rounded, with softer corners that won't dig into your palms like those on earlier Ultra phones. You know, the ones that were like carrying a mini brick around? Yeah, those. I'm glad to see Samsung finally listened to user feedback and decided to make a more comfortable phone.

Now, I'm not gonna lie - these leaked images aren't exactly surprising. We saw some unofficial renders earlier this year that pretty much confirmed the same design changes. But hey, it's always nice to get a second (or third, or fourth) look at what's possibly coming down the pipeline. And in this case, it's nice to see the S26 Ultra next to its Apple counterpart.

Speaking of which, the leak also includes a comparison shot between the S26 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Guess what? The iPhone's got even more rounded corners! Who knew Apple and Samsung would be competing in a roundness competition? Joking aside, it's interesting to see both companies converging on a more comfortable design aesthetic.

But what really caught my eye was the comparison between the S26 Ultra and S25 Ultra. The difference is subtle, but it's there. The S26 Ultra's screen seems to be curved a bit more aggressively, which might be a plus for those who like that kind of thing. Me? I'm a bit skeptical. Remember when Samsung first introduced curved screens and everyone thought it was the future? Yeah, it wasn't.

I think the real question is - will these design changes be enough to sway users? The S26 Ultra's rumored specs are looking pretty solid, but we all know that's not the only thing that matters. What about battery life? Camera quality? Software support? There's a lot we still don't know, and I'm not getting too excited just yet.

Still, I've gotta admit - the S26 Ultra's looking pretty nice. That rounded design might just be the thing to set it apart from the competition. And hey, if it's more comfortable to hold, that's a win in my book. What's your take? Are you excited about the S26 Ultra's prospects? Let me know in the comments.

All in all, it's shaping up to be an interesting year for Samsung. With the Note series seemingly on its way out, the S series is gonna have to carry the torch. Can it deliver? Only time will tell, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Bring on the S26 Ultra - I'm ready to put it through its paces.

By the way, don't even get me started on the silly naming conventions. S26 Ultra, iPhone 17 Pro Max... can't we just have some simple, straightforward names for once? I digress. That's a rant for another day.
